The CL-241 color ink cartridge is also a standard capacity cartridge and can print up to 180 pages. There is a high-capacity version of this cartridge, the CL-241XL, that can print up to 400 pages.
While the two-cartridge ink system used by the MX470 is convenient, it can be more expensive in the long run compared to printers that use separate cartridges for each color. This is because if one color runs out, the entire color cartridge must be replaced, even if the other colors are still full.
Fortunately, there are third-party ink cartridges available for the MX470 that can be more cost-effective than the original Canon cartridges.
