Canon Pixma TR4500 Printer Review

The Canon Pixma TR4500 is an entry-level all-in-one(AIO) inkjet printer that features a wireless connection and supports Amazon's Alexa. This light-duty printer is the best fit for home use, and it has a price to suit. It has some excellent features, such as auto-duplexing, and print quality is better than I usually anticipate from a budget plan all-in-one.

Tester installed the Pixma TR4500 in my office for 5 hrs of extensive testing and about 5 days of essential use. Tester evaluated points such as print speed and quality, photo printing quality, scan and copy abilities, and ease of use. Tester was happily surprised by the overall efficiency of such an inexpensive printer, but not enough to suggest it for anything but light-duty home use.

Design: Oldschool user interface and manages

The Pixma TR4500 appears modern, but the user interface and management do. In a time when many entry- and mid-level inkjets have transitioned to big, colorful displays, the Pixma TR4500 features a tiny LCD display and a large selection of physical switches.

The display is sporadic and challenging to read if you aren't looking at it from the right angle. Still, the large switches are easy to determine, production of the printer is relatively easy to use.

The display and control board lies on the top of the printer, production it easier to use if you are standing and looking down. Attempt to use it while sitting before the printer; you will have difficulty reading the display because of the previously mentioned viewing angle problems.

You will find a flip-up panel to the right of the display and control board that hides the automated document feeder (ADF). Listed below is a carved-out pocket designed to hold documents after they have been going through the ADF.

The control board and ADF turn up, so clearing paper blockages is a wind. Flipping the ADF up also reveals a standard flatbed scanner if you need to scan a solitary document or if you need to check something that is irregularly sized or too thick to go through the ADF.

The front of the printer flips available to expose the paper cartridge and the telescoping system designed to capture documents as they print. The paper cartridge is conveniently connected to the front cover.

Further access to the internals is available by flipping down a panel behind the main cover. This allows you to port in both ink cartridges and access paper in the jam.

The back of the printer features a power cable connector, Ethernet port, USB port, and a connected telephone jack if you want to use the fax abilities of the machine. There's also a fast launch to remove a panel for additional access to paper jams.
