Canon PIXMA MG7520 Printer

Canon's Pixma line of all-in-one inkjet printers is the Murderer's Paddle of digital photography printers. Along with this year's 7150 model, and last year's iX6850 model, Canon has traditionally produced quality print/scan devices at affordable prices. Whether you are a photo lover, a small company proprietor, or prefer to print iPhone and GoPro stills, you will most likely enjoy most aspects of the Pixma printing experience.

The new Canon Pixma MG7520 is no exemption.

Valued at $199 (about £170/AU$219), the Pixma MG7520 is eerily like the MG7150. Both print documents at an optimum color dpi of 9600 X 2400 with 1pl technology and scan documents and pictures at 2400 x 4800 dpi.

Such as the 7150 and the 7520 feature 6 ink tanks, consisting of a storage tank that holds grey ink, to offer more color precision and balance. Most printers feature just one cartridge that produces ink of all shades from the same pool, so you are forced to toss the cartridge away when the ink goes out, no matter which shades you usually use. If you typically go through a lot of ink, you will value the 6 separate tanks: you will just need to change the ink cartridges for shades you often use, and you will not need to change the ones you rarely use.

The 7150 is a lightweight model ideal for home users and small companies with constrained spaces. The 17.4 extra pound printer is just 17.2" wide and 5.9" high, so it isn't exactly small, but it's pound-for-pound a robust device. It is housed in a smooth, black plastic framework that efficiently gathers dirt and fingerprint spots. You will want to clean this machine down often in purchase to assist it in maintaining its attractive look.

You will mainly communicate with the unit's 3.5" LCD touchscreen (like the MG7150) when not printing straight from the Canon Pixma Maxify Inkjet Print application. You can print from the shadow from the touchscreen via solutions such as Twitter and Google, Twitter, Dropbox, OneDrive, and Msn and yahoo Own. The touchscreen is incredible if you can tap something that instantly appears on the screen. However, if you have to scroll backward and forwards, you will want to take a hammer to the MG7520 - scrolling is inaccurate and moves the screen too fast, too slow, or does not relocate.

One upgrade Msn and yahoo followers will enjoy is MG7520's Msn and yahoo Shadow print compatibility, which allows you to take a file from any application, open it up in Msn and yahoo Shadow Print, and after that, print it for your MG7520. Msn and yahoo Shadow was extremely easy to install and use.

iPhone users will be disappointed that the MG7520, such as the MG7150, is still just NFC suitable with specific Android devices. So if you do not have an Android device, you will need wi-fi or an ethernet cable to print documents.

Such as the MG7150 and and feature Auto Duplex Printing, allowinallowingse 2 papesions on 2 separate trays within the printer. This feature allows you to easily switch between printing off of more extensive style paper, such as Letter, and smaller sized styles, such as A5, without needing to open up and reload the tray every time you begin a brand-new job. Just like workplace printers, the MG7520 allows you to pick which tray to print from before the job starts andfeeds the Paper from the pre-selected cassette. The lower tray, which holds more extensive style paper, can hold 125 sheets of Ordinary Paper, and the top tray, which has smaller-sized paper dimensions, can hold 20 sheets of 4" X 6" photo paper.

I also enjoyed the Auto Power On feature, which allows the MG7520 to rest between jobs and launch instantly. This feature not just helps you conserve money, but you do not need to lose time starting up the device when you introduce a print job from throughout the office or home - the print will be waiting on you when you show up.
